"Every frame a painting..."

I can’t actually play the trumpet, but I do have an array of ninja level skills when it comes to cameras.

Having grown up messing around with my dad’s 35mm canon and the home camcorder – a tool that is retrospectively massive by today’s standards and quite cumbersome for a ten-year-old to use! – my passion for telling stories through images has been honed and perfected since those early, blurry photographic first steps.

This passion led me to study an MA in Filmmaking at The London Film School, where I graduated with distinction as a director, before going on to write, direct and produce the award-winning Shropshire based feature film, Long Forgotten Fields, which you can check out on Amazon Prime if your watchlist is running low.

Having built a career working in the film industry, I have had the pleasure of working with and shooting an amazing array of personalities, celebrities and individuals. For me, good photography and filmmaking is all about capturing the magic of a moment, a fleeting detail, or the sense of connection between two people.

It’s about storytelling through the image and making sure that every frame is a painting you’d be happy to hang pride of place in your home.

My shooting style is observational, unintrusive and relaxed. I can blend into the background and ensure there are no unnecessary distractions or anxieties during your big day, but also have the ability to prompt and nurture people into fantastic shots that feel spontaneous.

Ultimately, it’s about us getting to know each other as much as possible before hand so I can develop a full appreciation for what’s most important to you. I love talking with new people and would love nothing more than to help you capture your story on what I’ll ensure is a beautifully photographed day.
